In a heartfelt Instagram story, Morphine expressed her gratitude: “First and foremost, I want to thank everyone for all the love and positive messages I have been receiving. As many of you know, last weekend, I was in a serious car accident suffering a fractured collarbone. I also broke my jaw in half for which I needed surgery to repair and lead to the loss of several teeth. I’m still a bit sad and traumatized but extremely grateful and happy to be alive.”

Morphine is currently back in Miami focusing on her recovery. She continued, “I will continue to post updates periodically and ask for your patience and understanding during this difficult time. I want to send a special thank you to WOW, MTV/ Paramount, my manager Natasha, and my closest friends for taking care of me and helping with my accommodations. You have been nothing but amazing to me.”

Kaos, another contestant from Canada’s Drag Race season 3, was also involved in the accident. Kaos sustained a fractured collarbone, broken ribs, stitches, and a concussion that led to a seizure. She provided an update on her condition, stating: “First off, I just want to thank everyone that has reached out with the kind and positive messages, it truly means a lot. As a lot of you already know I was in a serious car accident last weekend. I am now home resting with family and loved ones. I fractured my ribs, have some stitches, have a severe concussion as I hit my head which lead to me also having a seizure.”

Both Morphine and Kaos expressed their gratitude towards World of Wonder for their support during this difficult time. Kaos added, “I want to thank World Of Wonder for taking such good care of me and Morphine and all our friends after the accident in L.A. From driving us around to the hospitals, check ups, and to grab food and whatever we needed and covering our stay as we heal. Also for the beautiful flowers, it’s truly appreciated and we are so grateful for the love and support everyone has given us through this traumatic time.”

As they focus on their recovery, both queens have reassured their fans of their determination to return to performing. Morphine concluded her message with hope and appreciation: “I love you all so so so much and hope to be back doing what I love very soon. Los quiero mucho y hasta la próxima.”

We eagerly await the day Morphine and Kaos are back on stage, dazzling audiences with their incredible talent. Until then, we wish them both a speedy and full recovery.
