Kings Are Here to Slay

👑 From aerial acrobats to dad jokes and stank realness — the kings of drag are HERE, they’re queer, and baby, they brought pomade. ✨

Move over queens, the kings have arrived — and they’re doing it with mustaches, muscles, and a whole lot of charisma. Hosted by NYC drag icon and beloved entertainer Murray Hill, the first-ever drag king competition show, King of Drag, is premiering on LGBTQ+ streaming service Revry. Over six fabulous episodes, ten bold, brilliant drag kings will battle it out for the ultimate crown — with celebrity guest judges and drag royalty adding extra sparkle to every moment. Here’s your royal rundown of the kings who are rewriting the rules of gender performance, one power pose at a time.

Alexander the Great

Straight from Austin and defying both gravity and gender norms, Alexander the Great isn’t here to play — he’s here to slay. Known for aerial acrobatics that’ll leave your jaw on the floor, this high-flying king is out to conquer more than just the stage. Alexander combines physical spectacle with drag artistry, bringing an athleticism rarely seen in traditional drag. He’s a visual reminder that drag is not just a look — it’s a lifestyle, and he’s living it mid-air.

Big D

Big D is not what you expect — unless what you expect is a middle-aged mom wrapped in drag chaos and comedic genius. Self-described as “an avalanche of idiots,” this king delivers absurdist drag that doesn’t shy away from getting weird. D flips expectations and refuses to play it safe, embracing humor as a form of rebellion and queer liberation. In a world obsessed with polish, Big D brings the punk.

Dick Von Dyke

Band geek turned leading man, Dick Von Dyke knows how to turn rejection into revolution. Denied the starring roles in school, he created his own — and now he’s serving you the spotlight with a side of smirk. From wholesome crooner to cheeky heartthrob, Dick’s drag is a bold act of taking up space where queer people are often erased. And yes, his name is exactly what you think it is.

With a name that evokes something rich and slow-burning, this king invites the audience to pause and feel. His drag isn’t about loud statements, but quiet power. In a world that’s always rushing, King Molasses is the antidote: calm, intentional, and completely original.

Tuna Melt

Hailing from NYC, Tuna Melt is bringing the stank and the sass. This king embraces the absurd and theatrical, channeling musical theater energy into bold, bass-filled drag. A Kingdom Worth Watching

King of Drag isn’t just a reality show — it’s a radical act of visibility for drag kings, who’ve long been underrepresented in mainstream drag culture. With this diverse lineup, each bringing a unique lens to masculinity and queer performance, the show is a reminder that drag isn’t just about looking pretty — it’s about challenging the world’s expectations. For the LGBTQ+ community, especially those under the trans and nonbinary umbrella, seeing kings take the spotlight affirms that there’s room for everyone at the drag table.
