Beyoncé’s Renaissance World Tour has not only been a musical spectacle but also a gathering of Hollywood A-listers and drag royalty. The recent stops in Los Angeles witnessed an impressive turnout of famous faces, including power couple Kylie Jenner and Timothée Chalamet, close friends Sarah Paulson and Pedro Pascal, and the ever-iconic Kris Jenner.
However, what stole the spotlight was the presence of an array of drag talent, enough to assemble a formidable Drag Race All Stars cast. Symone, the reigning champion from Drag Race season 13, graced the event, adhering to Beyoncé’s silver-themed dress code in a striking nude print mini-dress and a towering Afro wig. Symone’s friend and fellow drag icon Gigi Goode, a finalist from Drag Race season 12, joined her in a stunning silver skirt and corset ensemble, complete with a blonde ball braid.
Shea Couleé, the winner of All Stars 5 and a fan favorite, turned heads in a reflective, studded leotard paired with shiny silver space boots, matching skirt, and braids. Drag Race UK: UK vs The World finalist Monique Heart made a bold statement in her butch queen realness attire, donning a dazzling disco ball vest, matching shades, and headscarf.
The night also featured Salina EsTitties, a standout from season 15, spotted with Frankie Grande, Ariana Grande’s sibling, holding a sign that read “Shake yo EsTitties!” Luxx Noir London, another queen from season 15, made a grand entrance with a 40-inch wig and a black and yellow latex-look ensemble, channeling Queen Bey herself.
Season 14’s June Jambalaya was seen enjoying the festivities with influencers Bretman Rock and Jasmine Shenice Brown, all while sporting a glamorous replica of one of Beyoncé’s iconic bodysuits. The star-studded event also saw the presence of Drag Race favorites LaLa Ri and Denali, making it one of the many stops on Beyoncé’s historic tour, recently declared the highest-grossing tour by a female artist in history.
A highlight of the evening was when Beyoncé shared the stage with Diana Ross, a legendary figure in the music industry, to celebrate her 42nd birthday. Diana Ross serenaded Beyoncé with a heartfelt rendition of “Happy Birthday To You,” prompting an emotional response from Queen Bey herself. Beyoncé expressed her gratitude, acknowledging Ross’s immense influence on her career: “There would be no me without you. Thank you so much for all of your sacrifice and your beauty and your grace. Thank you for opening doors for me.”
The Renaissance World Tour continues to be a testament to the power of music, diversity, and inclusion, bringing together celebrities and drag royalty in a celebration of LGBTQ culture and entertainment.
