But just before 8 am, during a split-screen shot, footage from Goodrem’s Mighty Hoopla performance rolled, and viewers were greeted with a fan holding a sign emblazoned with the word “C***.” Talk about a rude awakening! One viewer tweeted, “God no! It can’t be real,” while another chimed in, “That’s not very nice to put that up when Delta is on… tut tut.” And let’s not forget the cheeky soul who remarked, “Love the sign that says ‘c***’ in the audience watching Delta. Oops, should have looked at that footage before airing it.”

When asked by GMB hosts Susanna Reid and Ed Balls about her participation, she played coy, saying, “As I said last year before Eurovision, I’m always open. I love the variety of the arts. I’d have to work really hard because I am a piano girl at the end of the day.”
