Drag queens Tina Burner, Alexis Michelle, and Scarlet Envy have embarked on the international Witch Perfect Tour, commencing on September 28 in Norwalk, Connecticut, and concluding on October 30 in Cardiff, United Kingdom. The Witch Perfect Tour promises a captivating cabaret parody of the beloved Disney Halloween classic, Hocus Pocus. To celebrate this extraordinary journey, the trio is gifting fans with a fresh, original song titled “Mother,” accompanied by a visually stunning music video. This enchanting track was masterfully arranged and orchestrated by the talented Blake Allen.
In the music video, Tina Burner flawlessly embodies Winifred Sanderson (originally portrayed by Bette Midler), while Alexis Michelle takes on the role of Mary Sanderson (originated by Kathy Najimy), and Scarlet Envy channels her inner Sarah Sanderson (originated by Sarah Jessica Parker).
Alexis Michelle, who rose to fame through her participation in season nine of RuPaul’s Drag Race, continues to shine in the LGBTQ community. She has since hosted Dragnificent! on TLC, released her Lovefool album, and participated in All Stars 8. 2023 saw Michelle’s prolific output, with the launch of captivating original songs like “I’m Too Much,” “If You Want My Apples,” and “Manpig,” among others.
Scarlet Envy, introduced to Drag Race enthusiasts during season 11, showcased her immense talent by winning an acting maxi challenge alongside the crowned queen, Yvie Oddly. In the years following her debut, Envy ventured into her WOW Presents Plus series titled “Envy of My Boogie,” made a triumphant return on All Stars 6, and notably portrayed Lana Del Slay in Paramount+’s iCarly reboot.
While Tina Burner had already established herself as a celebrated New York City queen and appeared on Fusion TV’s Shade: Queens of NYC series in 2017, she officially made her Drag Race debut in season 13. Since then, Burner has demonstrated her versatility with the release of the Mix Queen: A Relationship Mixtape album and catchy singles such as “I’d Rather Be Naughty Than Nice” and “Unimpressed.”
The Witch Perfect Tour promises to captivate audiences worldwide with its unique blend of cabaret and Hocus Pocus-inspired entertainment, showcasing the immense talent and creativity of these three LGBTQ icons.
