UK Blocks Anti-LGBTQ Extremist Entry

The UK says NO to hate! 🇬🇧✋ Anti-LGBTQ extremist Valentina Gomez is blocked from entering the UK. Let’s keep the hate out and love in! 💖 #LGBTQ #LoveWins

TL;DR

  • Valentina Gomez barred from UK entry
  • Home Office cites public safety concerns
  • Gomez promotes anti-LGBTQ and anti-Islam views
  • MWNUK supports the Home Office decision
  • Calls for action against hate speech

In a bold move against hate and extremism, the UK Home Office has decided to block the entry of notorious anti-LGBTQ+ content creator Valentina Gomez. This decision comes in light of her inflammatory rhetoric that not only targets the LGBTQ+ community but also promotes anti-Islamic sentiments. The Home Office deemed her presence in the UK “would not be conducive to the public good,” and we couldn’t agree more.

Gomez, a self-proclaimed MAGA supporter, has made headlines for her outrageous antics, including burning a copy of the Quran and LGBTQ+ books with a flamethrower. Yes, you heard that right! This woman has taken her hate-filled message to new extremes, and the UK is not having it.

The Muslim Women’s Network UK (MWNUK) played a pivotal role in alerting the Home Office to the potential dangers of allowing Gomez into the country. They warned that her presence could embolden far-right extremism and further normalize religious and racial hatred. Home Secretary Shabana Mahmood took their concerns seriously, and the result? A big fat NO to Gomez.

In response to her ban, Gomez took to social media, defiantly claiming, “I’m coming to England on a boat. They can try to ban me, but they cannot ban the truth.” Oh honey, the only truth we see here is that hate has no place in the UK. She even went so far as to suggest that if she were arrested, the White House would intervene. Talk about delusions of grandeur!

Gomez’s history of anti-LGBTQ+ rhetoric is alarming. In a campaign video, she stated, “This is what I will do to the grooming books when I become secretary of state. These books come from a Missouri public library. When I’m in office, they will burn.” She has also been quoted saying, “In America, you can be anything you want, so don’t be weak and gay. Stay fucking hard.” The audacity!

Following the Home Office’s decision, MWNUK expressed their approval, stating that this should serve as a precedent for others who choose to promote disinformation and hatred. We couldn’t agree more! The UK is sending a clear message: hate speech and extremism will not be tolerated.

As we continue to fight for LGBTQ+ rights and inclusivity, it’s essential to recognize and challenge those who seek to undermine our community. Valentina Gomez may think she can spread her venom, but the UK has shown her that love and acceptance will always triumph over hate.
