In a move that has sparked excitement among music fans worldwide, Madonna recently announced The Celebration Tour, a brand new world tour that will feature all of her biggest hits from four decades in the music industry. Joining her on tour as a special guest is Bob the Drag Queen, best known for co-hosting HBO’s Emmy award-winning series We’re Here and winning season eight of RuPaul’s Drag Race.
Bob’s inclusion in the tour is particularly noteworthy, as he famously dressed up as Madonna during a runway challenge on Drag Race, donning the Boy Scout uniform that the Queen of Pop wore to the GLAAD Awards in 2013.
The tour will kick off in Vancouver, BC on July 15th and make its way through North America before heading to Europe for a leg that begins in London on October 14th and concludes in Amsterdam on December 1st.
The announcement of The Celebration Tour was made in a star-studded video that featured a cast of famous friends, including Amy Schumer, Jack Black, Meg Stalter, Judd Apatow, Lil Wayne, and Diplo. Bob also makes an appearance in the video, sitting at the right-hand side of Madonna, a position that is sure to be the envy of many.
As fans eagerly await the start of The Celebration Tour, there is no doubt that Bob the Drag Queen will bring a unique and exciting element to the show, and many are curious to see what kind of antics the two performers will get up to as they travel the globe together.
