Lithuania has revamped its national pre-selection format for Eurovision 2024, moving from the traditional “Pabandom iš Naujo” to the newly branded “Eurovizija.lt”. This year’s lineup features a striking array of 40 acts, showcasing the depth and diversity of Lithuania’s musical talent. Notable among them are the French-born X Factor Lithuania winner Antoine Wend and several returnees, including Kotryna Juodzevičiūtė, a familiar face from previous national finals.

Generating significant excitement is the inclusion of The Roop, a band that has dramatically increased Lithuania’s Eurovision 2024 winning odds. Funding and Regulations
The national broadcaster, LRT, has allocated a budget of 1,500 euros per act for staging their performances. This funding underscores LRT’s commitment to producing a visually and musically impressive show, enhancing each act’s chances of captivating the Eurovision audience. Additionally, all participants have agreed to a set of rules laid out by LRT, including the requirement for the 2nd to 5th place finalists to participate in a concert to support the eventual winner’s Eurovision journey.
