Carl Nassib, a star player in the National Football League (NFL), has publicly confirmed his relationship with Danish swimmer Søren Dahl in a sweet Instagram post. The two can be seen embracing in the photo, with Dahl sporting Nassib’s jersey from the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. Although the couple has shared several photos of each other on social media in the past, this marks the first time they have explicitly confirmed their relationship.
Dahl, 29, is a talented athlete who represented Denmark in the 2016 Rio Olympics, where he competed in the men’s 4 x 200-meter freestyle relay event and helped set a national record for his country. After completing a master’s degree in Strategic Communication at Texas Christian University, he relocated to New York City.
In 2021, Nassib made history by becoming the first active NFL player to come out as gay. Since then, he has become a vocal advocate for LGBTQ+ rights in sports and has used his platform to speak out against discrimination. His current contract with the Tampa Bay Buccaneers pays him $1,187,500 per year. Standing at a towering 6’7″, Nassib is a formidable force on the field and a role model off of it.
Talk about a power couple! With both Nassib and Dahl excelling in their respective fields and standing up for what they believe in, it’s no wonder they make such a great match. Here’s hoping they continue to inspire and support each other in all of their future endeavors.
