In a whirlwind of laughter and drama, this week’s episode of RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 8 took viewers on a rollercoaster ride of emotions. The challenge at hand was the highly anticipated Snatch Game of Love, where the remaining eight queens showcased their celebrity impressions. From the instantly iconic portrayal of Shirley Temple by Jimbo to the hilariously chaotic performance of Blackbeard by Heidi N Closet, the Snatch Game left fans “gooped and gagged to the gods.”

As the queens took the stage, their impersonations garnered both praise and laughter. Jimbo, known for her previous Snatch Game victory on Canada’s Drag Race, delivered a batshit and tap-dancing performance that had RuPaul and fellow contestant Kandy Muse in hysterics. Alexis Michelle and Jaymes Mansfield also received accolades for their spot-on impersonations. However, amidst the laughter, tensions began to rise backstage.

Prior to the runway, a confrontation unfolded between Kahanna Montrese and Heidi N Closet. Kahanna accused Heidi of antagonizing her during the challenge, but Heidi quickly apologized, clarifying that it was never her intention to bring Kahanna down. Seizing the opportunity, Kandy Muse questioned Heidi about comments she made to Jimbo off-camera, leading to a tense exchange. Ultimately, Heidi chose to exit the competition, expressing the need for peace and joy.

Heidi’s departure left a somber atmosphere, but the show must go on. The remaining seven contestants strutted down the runway, showcasing their best ruveals in front of guest stars Matt Rogers and Bowen Young. Jimbo emerged as the winner, with Jaymes and Alexis joining her in the top. On the other hand, Jessica Wild and Kahanna found themselves in the bottom two All Stars of the week.

In an unexpected turn of events, RuPaul announced that no one would be eliminated that night, much to the delight of Jessica and Kahanna. Meanwhile, fans took to social media to express their joy over Jimbo’s Shirley Temple portrayal, hailing it as one of the best in Drag Race herstory. The lip-sync smackdown between Jimbo and Jasmine Kennedie to Dua Lipa’s “Hallucinate” drew rave reviews online, highlighting Jasmine’s impressive choreography and acrobatic stunts.

As the episode concluded, fans reflected on the exhilarating Snatch Game performances, the shocking exit of Heidi, and Jasmine Kennedie’s triumphant comeback. While the loss of Heidi was deeply felt, her decision to prioritize her happiness resonated with viewers. With the competition intensifying, the remaining All Stars continue to captivate audiences and leave them eagerly awaiting the next episode.

I’m gonna miss seeing that soft and supple smile on my screen every week but happiness and mental health is the most important. Absolutely LOVE you Heidi and hope everything is well ❤️🥹#DragRace #AllStars8 pic.twitter.com/I5Ey6Pcfop
