Kat Kerr, a self-described Christian “prophetess,” has put forward an unusual theory about the origins of homosexuality. In a video shared online, Kerr claimed that some people are gay because God chose them for “very special assignments,” but the devil interfered by causing them to love members of the same sex.
Kerr stated, “If you let defiled people come and partake of holy things in those churches because they have defiled themselves, I’m talkin’ about homosexuals. They were all chosen by God for very special assignments… So Satan came up with a way to steal their destiny and keep them from ever becoming a threat to him! That’s why he chose them!”
She went on to proclaim, “But I have news for them! If you’re listening out there, there’s coming a revival that millions of homosexuals will run to the kingdom of God, and if you changed your body parts, he’ll put them back on you!” Her statement was met with applause.
Kerr is the author of the book “Revealing Heaven,” in which she claims to have had visions of heaven and various heavenly experiences. She is also known for making predictions about political events, including a claim that God told her that Joe Biden would not become president.
While Kerr’s beliefs are not representative of all Christians or religious individuals, her comments on homosexuality reflect a perspective that is not widely accepted and is at odds with LGBTQ+ rights and acceptance.
