Dale Savage dies at 62 following stroke, photographer says

Adult performer Dale Savage has died at the age of 62 after suffering a stroke, according to photographer Anthony Duran.

Duran, who is a partner in Ducato Studios, said on X on 3 July that Savage died on 19 June. In his tribute, he said he was sharing the news “with a heavy heart”.

“I am still in shock and having a hard time finding the words to write this.”

Duran added that Savage began his career at 50 and went on to become “a true superstar in the industry”. He described him as a “handsome, pansexual muscle daddy” and said Savage enjoyed working with major studios and performers before retiring around three years ago to live quietly in Vail, Colorado.

According to his profile on an adult site, Savage had previously worked as a fireman before entering the industry in 2018 after retiring.

Tributes soon followed online. BluStuds said it had the “honour” of working with Savage and remembered his “talent” and warmth. Sister Roma, the activist and drag performer, called him “a sweetheart” and sent “hugs and love” to those mourning him.
