Dylan Mulvaney, a trans actress and influencer with over 1 million followers on Instagram and 10 million followers on TikTok, has revealed the results of her recent facial feminization surgery. In a video posted on her social media channels, Mulvaney shows off her new face while dancing and resembling Natalie Portman in the movie Black Swan.
“It’s still me, just a little bit softer of a version!” Mulvaney said in the video. She also emphasized the importance of trans and nonbinary individuals having access to gender-affirming resources, calling the surgery “life-changing, and sometimes life-saving.”

Mulvaney had been teasing the reveal of her new face since December, when she went into surgery with Dr. Harrison Lee. In a post before the surgery, she thanked her former face for its service but acknowledged the sadness it often sparked.
It’s refreshing to see Mulvaney’s openness and pride in her journey towards becoming her best self. Historically, trans surgeries have been shrouded in secrecy and shame, but now trans individuals are openly embracing and celebrating their hard-won transformations.
