Elska Magazine, a publication devoted to showcasing gay communities worldwide, has trained its lens on the iconic city of Paris for its latest issue. The magazine invites readers to delve into the lives of a diverse array of ordinary gay men living in the City of Love and Light.
Paris, with its rich legacy of romance and fantasy, was the perfect setting for the fortieth edition of Elska. The magazine’s goal was to offer an authentic portrayal of the city through the experiences of a random selection of local men, as captured through intimate photography and personal narratives.
The results are nothing short of captivating. The expected air of romance associated with the French is palpable throughout the stories shared by the men, communicating a warmth, color, and allure that is simply irresistible. Photography, too, reinforces the nickname of “City of Light” through images that range from seductive to playful, showcasing themes such as lamps, mirrors, and tops-on-bottoms-off.
Inside Elska Paris, readers will meet ten local men, each captured in their neighborhoods, homes, and personal styles – and sometimes, not dressed at all. The local participants, Romain D, John B, Kyle Y, Xavier A, Sylvain P, Toby H, Guillaume G, Max D, Axel E, and Arnaud S, each have a dedicated chapter in the magazine.
