In the new trailer for Dune: Part Two, Zendaya and Timothée Chalamet take center stage in a romantic and action-packed adventure. The trailer opens with the two characters flirting about swimming in an ocean on a desert planet, before delving into the movie’s complex space politics and epic battles.
Director Denis Villeneuve promised that Part Two would be an action-packed war movie, which is evident in the trailer’s numerous action scenes. Chalamet’s character, Paul Atreides, even rides one of the planet’s famous sandworms.
However, Dune: Part Two isn’t just about the action. The film boasts an impressive cast, including Florence Pugh, Christopher Walken, and Austin Butler, who plays Feyd Rautha, a royal family member described as an “Olympic sword master crossed with a psychotic serial killer.”
But what makes this film even more exciting for fans is the fact that both Zendaya and Chalamet have worked with acclaimed gay director Luca Guadagnino. Chalamet starred in the award-winning film Call Me By Your Name, while Zendaya is set to star in the upcoming movie Challengers with Josh O’Connor and Mike Faist.
